Xfinity Stream on Sony Tv's

Why hasn't Xfinity Stream Beta been released for Sony Android Tv's? I think recently they will be changing to Google TV but not sure if the most recent Sony Tv's will be upgraded via online to Google TV or they will be stuck as Android, (not sure what the difference is) and Xfinity will not be releasing the Stream Beta anytime soon. Any anwers?
