Xfinity Stream on Mac Desktop

Get your act together.... a year later and you still can't stream on Mac OS Ventura using Firefox or Safari. Chrome works, but that's not acceptable. And no, I am not restoring an old version of Safari and opening myself up to security holes.

I can appreciate your concerns about wanting to stream via Safari as I too, enjoy my Safari on my MacBook, @user_c6e97b

There are some sites that just will not work on Safari and the Xfinity Stream portal just happens to be one of them. I understand you do not want to use Chrome, but I do want you to know that you can use Microsoft Edge, if you can get that browser downloaded.

Microsoft Edge for Mac
  1. Go to the Microsoft Edge website.
  2. Make sure macOS is selected from the Download drop-down menu, then select Download.
  3. Review the terms of service and select Accept and download. ...
  4. Open the Downloads folder in Finder and select the Microsoft Edge .

Yes, I already know I can use another browser as I stated in my post. I’m certainly not looking to install a 4th browser. I guess I’ll just use Chrome since it’s obvious Xfinity isn’t going to work on it’s compatibility with the popular Mac browsers.

I will definitely be happy to pass this concern and request along for you! Is there anything else that I may be able to assist with today?
