Xfinity Stream not working on Apple TV

Xfinity Stream not working on Apple Tv. Tried all the restarting of App, internet and Apple Tv but nothing works. I get pop up saying Ithe app has to be on the network, which it already is and then the app tries to open shows up for about 3-5 seconds then crashes.

Hey there @user_dtrewj, sorry to hear about the issues you're having with our Xfinity Stream App, I know not being able to stream your content can be frustrating. I'm happy to assist!

To confirm, do you have our streaming plan (NOW or Stream Saver) or do you have an actual cable package?

Have you tried any troubleshooting, like rebooting the modem?

Xfinity stream works on on my iPhone and iPad but not on the Apple Tv. Yes I have tried all the troubleshooting tips

Please send us a DM with your full name and address to Xfinity Support. 
To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
