Xfinity stream not casting
Trying to cast from my iPhone to my tv, My app says casting to my device, and my device or tv says Xfinity stream ready to cast, but nothing happens. All other apps work fine.

I have several Chromecasts. The issue seems to occur with the first and third generation Chromecasts. The second generation Chromecasts don't seem to be affected.

Been having this problem for ~10 days,
Intermittently, it will work (like this evening) but never for long (<5 mins tonight).
Xfinity - please address the issue ASAP as you can see how many customers rely on this functionality.

I just used the Xfinity Stream app on Saturday with no issue when casting to my VIzio Tv. I've tired yesterday and today only to have the same issue that everyone else is describing. Since we actually pay for this service as a part of our TV subscription, can we get an update ASAP please? This is ridiculous the type of customer service this company provides. I'm afraid to call Customer Service to even troubleshoot and complain because the last time I called in due to my local channels in HD freezing, my service plan was changed without a request from me or my permission.

This is complete BS. I requested no change to my service. Didn't upgrade anything. Tell me Comcast, why in the world can't you backout/rollback the change you guys made to screw this up. And what will you be doing to keep us from not going to YouTube Tv, that doesn't have this issue, can cast all channels anywhere not just my ToGo Channels, and way more DVR. I hope you get this fixed before my trail period expires. Xfinity ain't looking too good right now.

My gosh I’m not alone! Same issue and I can’t clear a tv cache. It’s from my phone. It’s so frustrating. Why can’t anyone fix it? We are paying too much money and have no cable outlet in our living room. So this is outrageous that we can’t watch tv and no one can figure out why. What are you all paid to do? I’ve done everything. Nothing works. Find the answer for us. It can’t be working a week ago and all of sudden we all have the same issue. Please fix this. I’m angry and considering cancelling xfinity bc this is just absurd.

This doesn't fix the problem at all, but if you log into xfinity from a computer and select streaming then cast just the tab from your browser (select sources in the cast menu->tab) it will cast whatever you are currently streaming.

Hello there. I have a problem... Earlier this morning, I try to cast my cast my Xfinity stream app though my TV. The message on my phone says now casting. and sometimes it's not showing up on TV, because it's still displays the xfinity stream logo. What should I do if it's not working? Although, I already connected to in-home Wi-Fi network.
