Xfinity stream in Roku not showing all live channels

The Xfinity stream app is not showing all channels. It’s only showing a couple of dozen channels. This is on three different Rokus in my house. Have tried restarting the devices and the app and it has not changed. All channels show on the Xfinity box. Hopefully comcast is working to fix this.

Issue just started yesterday.  I have all my channel lineup on my boxes but streaming app only shows a handful of channels.   Very frustrating as we removed a tv box so we could just stream on that tv.  Using a Roku.  Channel lineup is also not showing on phone.

@user_10e561​  Same issue here except with fire stick and a fire TV. Ironically we also just returned a box/adapter that wasn't being used and then 2 days later my channels and favorites go away 😧

The same thing is happening to me on both my Roku TV’s. There is only a handful of channels showing. I have already tried deleting the app and reinstalling it.

Hello, I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with the Xfinity Stream app, this is a known issue, and we are working to get this resolved. We have had many customers report that they are now able to see their channels. What I recommend is to log out all the way, and log back in, if that doesn't help you can try to uninstall and reinstall the app to see if it helps too. Please let us know if this is helpful.

Yes! Happened all the sudden around 7 pm to me last night. They said they would have a technician come out Sunday and check but I told them I better not get charged that 100.00 fee when a tech comes out. I’m thinking about canceling them bc it sounds as if it’s an issue on their end after reading all the complaints! 

if I could have boxes in those two bedrooms I would but we don’t have a way to put a box in their pet Comcast!

We had the same issue about two weeks ago on the east cost. We got limited channels on Roku, and the same channels were missing on the streaming app.  Nothing we did helped to resolve it but within two days, first the channels reappeared on Roku and then they came back a day later on the Xfinity Streaming App.  Other people who had complained also had their channels restored so I think it is an Xfinity issue that will just take time to resolve as ours did.  At least I hope that it's true for you too.

This is happening to me as well since yesterday. I’m in my Xfinity home network and in two iPhones and one Fire TV stick on a TV, the Xfinity stream app is just showing TV Go channels. The frustration is that it was working perfectly and all of a sudden I started to have this issue. Customer service tried to troubleshoot the problem by resetting my router but didn’t work. 

The set top box is working without a problem Sonia clear that is Xfinity Stream app the one with the problem but I want to highlight that is not only a problem with Roku as other posts are indicating as in my case is with iPhones and Fire TV Stick.

If you have too, you can install the network specific app on your device and login with xfinity sign in.  Not ideal but gives you access to football today haha

I have the same problem. I am getting about 8 channels. I have no favorites. Works on phone and samsung tv directly.  Moving over to twitter and face book to start slamming xfinity services.

Just happened again this morning- whatever "Upgrades" they are doing is degrading service nationwide.  I've used the stream app for 3 years with zero issues until the last two weeks!

@jason3062​ same here. Not only can my husband watch football all day, I have a sick child who was watching all the parades. We’ve had this service for years and never had this issue.

I am having the same issue. I bought a second Roku stick that was delivered yesterday specifically so I could watch my Xfinity programs on my new TV. My Xfinity Stream is not working on either of my Roku sticks. I have signed out and signed in, I have deleted and reinstalled the app, and I am still only getting a whopping 3 channels (Educational Programming in SD and HD, and The Weather Channel in SD). Please fix this! :(

I am having the same issues starting this morning of Thanksgiving.  All my Roku devices no longer have access except for TNT and NFL Network.  All other channels are missing.  I have done a restart of my wifi, I have wiped the channel off roku and re-added.  Any other suggestions?  This is very frustrating on a holiday to have this happen with family over.  I noticed on my computer that the same channels I have access on my roku show up first.  All the other ones are listed on my computer with "to go" listed after them.  None of those with "to go" show up on my Roku devices.

@user_0206eb​ mine was exactly the same, starting this morning, only the 2 channels you reference are available.  Sadly Xfinity doesn't seem to care, in the past i had to file a complaint w/ the fcc to get them to come to my neighborhood because we were all having issues.  Sad that it take such an act by a 30 year customer to get help, but honestly unless drastic options are taken, they simply will ignore all requests.

@user_0206eb Hello, good afternoon, and thank you for letting us know you have also been experiencing a similar issue regarding access of channels via the Xfinity Stream app. Many of our customers are now reporting the channel problem to be resolved and we do advise restarting the equipment or devie as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the Stream app if possible.

Please let me know if this has worked as resolution or if you are still continuing to experience problems through the Xfinity Stream app at this time!
