Xfinity Stream Beta Audio Output on Samsung TV

When using Xfinity Stream Beta on a Samsung QN65Q900TS TV, live TV plays with 5.1 channel audio, while recorded programs play in 2.0 channel. With the cable box, both live and recorded programs play in 5.1 channel. Is this a limitation of the Stream app or the Samsung TV, or is there a setting for recorded audio?

so far, no. just 2.0 audio on cloud DVR recordings.
