did you turn in all of your set top boxes intending to only use the Roku etc?

I have the same issue (2 Rokus only showing purchases), no live channels, no guide.  I don't have an X1 box, I only have Cablecards / TiVos.  My iPhone and iPads with Xfinity Stream all work correctly, I can stream live tv without issues.  It is only an issue on the Rokus.

without x1 service you would need t stream from your Tivo devices. X1 includes optional cloud DVR service.

this is somewhat confusing.  I am not looking to use the Stream app as a DVR service, so I am not sure what the Cloud DVR reference is about.

I understand I can watch live tv on the my TiVos with the Xfinity cablecar, what I don't understand is why I can watch live tv with my iPad, iPhone, and PC using the Xfinity Stream app / website, but I can't do the same on my Roku.  I would think that either my account is authorized to use the Stream app, and thus it would work on all devices, or my account is NOT authorized to use the Stream app, and it wouldn't work on ANY device.  I don't understand why the Roku app is behaving differently than the iOS / PC.

I think I answered my own question.  I have Xfinity TV service, but do not currently subscribe to the Xfinity Internet service.  I have another company's fiber internet service.  My asusmption (after reading more about the Stream Beta app (Stream on Partner Devices), is that you must subscribe to Xfinity Internet for this work.

Still a bit confusing since Stream apps work from iOS / PC when connected to my home non-Xfinity internet.....

currently comcast will offer video (cable tv type servicer) if you are a current xfinity internet customer.
