Xfinity Stream app stuck in sign in loop Xumo box

Xumo box seems to work fine for every single app except for Xfinity stream. I can watch Netflix and Hulu and everything else.  When I click on the purple Xfinity stream app it says sign in. I click on sign in it brings up a QR code which I scan with my iPhone asks me to sign in on my phone and then it says “Success.Your screen will update shortly.”

Screen updates and puts the sign in screen up again. What is going on with this? It’s been going on for like a week, I spent hours and hours on the phone and nobody seems to be able to figure it out.

Funny thing is it works on my smart TV, my iPad, and my iPhone. Just not on.xumo box.

Hey there sanctuary_hill, and thanks for letting us know you're experiencing something similar! If you're experiencing a sign-in loop with the Xfinity Stream app on your Xumo box, please try the following steps:

  1. Ensure your Xumo box is connected to the internet.
  2. Restart the app and your device.
  3. Clear the app's cache if possible.
  4. Sign out of your Xfinity account on the app and sign back in.
  5. If the issue persists, visit xfinity.com to log out or try a different browser.

For me at least, I had to go into setting and do a factory reset, then set everything up again.  Pain in the rear end, but it worked.
