Xfinity stream app on Samsung 5 Series (40) not workin

Hello,

I have a samsung TV 5 Series (40) and the app was working fine for over a year and then today I get a white page with a message at the top in a box that says "This Web page is not available"

Unable to load the page. https://edge.stream-smarttv-samsung-active.xcr.comcast.net/index.html may be temporarily down or have moved to a new Web address.

Can you please advise?  I've tried removing the app from my Home and even factory reset the TV and tried to install the app again and same error.

Okay, looks like the issue gets resolved after I triggered a restart of the modem from the Xfinity app.

I am sorry to hear about your recent troubles while attempting to watch the Stream App. After a long day, I absolutely love to relax by watching TV and can only imagine the frustration you must have felt. I am glad resetting the modem fixed the connection problem. If you are continuing to have issues, we may need to investigate further.
