XFinity stream app on Kindle Fire HD 8 OS 8.6.3

The app appears to load but nothing happens. I am looking at a black screen. 

I have tried to deleted the app and re-install the app. The issue persists.

Hey there, user_47lwlv! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums. I do apologize about the experience with the Xfinity Stream on the Amazon Fire tablet. We are aware of a known issue, and our engineer partners are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We do not currently have an ETA on getting this resolved, but our team is working as quickly as possible to resolve it. We would recommend checking periodically, and it will likely be an update that would be pushed for it to resolve the access issue.

I have the same issue. On the Fire HD 8, the Application initialization screen appears "Xfinity Stream" but then just goes black, does not finish loading.

iOS on my Apple iPhone, the Application is okay on the same home wi-fi network.
