Xfinity Stream App not working with Deco wifi

Hi,

I have a Nighthawk AC80x acting as a modem to connect my Deco AC1200 mesh router to my devices across the house. The Xfinity Stream App says to connect to in home WiFi. I am connected so I’m not sure what needs to be done to access Xfinity Stream on my in home devices.

Hello, @user_2h5o8y. Thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums for support, you have contacted the right place for assistance. Reviewing the certified modem list the Netgear CAX80 is definitely a modem that is supported: https://www.xfinity.com/support/devices/#results. 

 

With your connection not recognizing being connected to the home network, have you attempted the troubleshooting steps outlined in the - Says I'm not home, but I am section here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/troubleshooting-stream-portal-and-app? 

 

- Are you able to use Xfinity Stream on a device (laptop, computer, etc) if your visit xfinity.com/stream with a device connected direct to the modem without the Deco router?
