Xfinity stream app quit working on my Roku stick. 
keeps telling me to try later. Error 500

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your Roku Streaming error, we're happy to help. Are you able to confirm the error or any issues using the Streaming portal at https://comca.st/3OVMZnW or the Stream App as well in order to eliminate issues specific to the network connection?  If you have another Roku device can you also check that one as well? 

 

You may also try the following steps:

(1) Remove the Xfinity streaming app from your Roku device.

 

(2)  If using a separate router, disconnect your router from your cable modem.  Reboot the modem. 

 

(3)  Reconnect your router to your modem once the modem fully reboots and shows that it is connected to the internet.

 

(4)  Reinstall the Xfinity App on your Roku.  You'll need to re-input your credentials and go through the verification process via the web.
