Xfinity stream app not working - Can only get SKYNEWS and Cheddarnews?

Is anyone else having issues in the metro Detroit area with the stream app not working at all? I log into it from my phone and laptop and all I can get are 3 channels for marketing purposes called SKYNEWS and CHEDDARNEWS. None of the service reps or engineers have been able to help me and then they told me there was an outage since Sept. 5 on this issue.....seriously?? its been going on for ten days and no resolution? I've been on the phone with a rep and all they do is make me restart my phone, re-download the app, "re-position" the incoming internet signal and still nothing. Then they asked for the serial number on my laptop. WHY!? this is an issue with all of my tech devices, not just one device. I cant even get the channels through Safari on my laptop and not its been almost 2 hours trying to get this thing to work. Does anybody know how to get this app working? I'm paying for the service and not getting any help to resolve the issue or an answer and i'm tired of being on hold or being "disconnected".

any widespread national problem would generate hundreds of posts a day. does the xfinity myAccount app, TV tab, subscribed channels shows your large number of subscribed channels?
