Xfinity Stream App Live TV video stutters

I have been using my Dell Venue 10 7040 tablet for watching live TV using Xfinity Stream App, version 6.5.0.018 for years. Suddenly the App is causing live TV video to stutter. Sound is fine, but it was like watching a slide show. Android Version is 5.1. Was working fine a few days ago. This issue just started. Yes, I have a reinstalled my version of the App. That didn't help.

the minimum level of android is Marshmallow but that 5.1 is lollipop.
