Xfinity stream app for LG tvs

I was having issues with the stream app. I just bought the TV the other day so it’s a 2019. I’m sure other people are having the exact same problem. But without looking it up first you download the Xfinity app and it doesn’t work. If you look online it tells you you must have the latest software on your TV in order for it to work. So I downloaded the newest software and it still didn’t work. Then I deleted the Xfinity app and reloaded the Xfinity app. It works great now.
