Xfinity Stream App for AppleTV (4k and other models)

When oh when will Xfinity release the Xfinity Stream app for my AppleTV (4K) so I can watch all of the content I have on one device? At least Astound (Wave) and Spectrum have a streaming app that works on AppleTV.. When oh when is Xfinity looking to release the same capabilities of all of the other major cable providers? 

While I've seen some older postings, I've not seen anything new on this matter and wonder when Xfinity is going to step up to the bar and do what they should do.. It's not hard.. Xfinitiy did it with Amazon for FireStick, Roku and others so it shouldn't be a licensing issue..

While you've provided some information on how to run the Stream app on Roku and certain Firesticks from amazon, the question that I've posed still has not been answered nor even addressed.

Well over a year ago, Xfinity announced they were going to release the Stream app for Apple TV Devices.. Well that time period has passed and Xfinity hasn't made any statements as to why this hasn't happened or when the app will be released so we can use it on our AppleTV Devices..


When will Xfinity provide an updater instead of ignoring it's customers requests?

At this time we do not have any information as to when the Xfinity Stream App will be made available to Apple TV devices.

This issue has become even more important to me. I am now getting a warning on my 2017 LG TV that the Xfinity Stream App will soon no longer be supported on my TV. I will need a streaming device right away that has the Xfinity Stream App or will have to reluctantly rent another cable box.
