Xfinity Stream App disconnects from my Google Chromecast HD with Google TV

I use my android Xfinity Stream App to stream my cable to my Google Chromecast HD with Google TV on my computer monitor. I live in the 98119 zip code. It's annoying when Xfinity Stream app stops streaming in the middle of a tv program or music. Basically the app stops and then the main Google TV homepage comes up or sometimes it just stops and a black screen comes up. It makes me have to reopen my Xfinity Stream app and make sure that is not connected and reconnect and stream the program I'm watching or was watching in this case. It has happened when I have been watching TV for a while. Like watching 2 hours of Fox News or music choice or something for example. I listen to the audio of the cable program on Bluetooth headphones connected to the Chromecast HD Google TV dongle. My Google Chromecast HD with Google TV is the 4th generation of the Google Chromecast which is fully compatible with the Xfinity Stream app. You guys should just need to add the Xfinity Stream app to the Google TV store so that people can have the app negatively on their Google TV devices like the Chromecast or Chromecast enabled Smart TVs or projectors. I assume you don't do that because you don't want to lose customers using their cable boxes or at least charging them a fee to rent out a cable box even if they're not using it when they're streaming from the app to a Chromecast enabled device. Please find a solution. My Chromecast is completely updated and so is my Android app and my pixel 7 Google phone is with its latest updates for August 2024 running Android 14.

Have the same exact problem currently. Never happened before until the beginning of September. I will connect then at random moments will disconnect and will return to the Chromecast home screen. It is beyond annoying. Everything is updated. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Xfinity stream app, unplugged the Chromecast, changed the batteries on the Chromecast remote, updated the Chromecast. No new results. Using a Google pixel 6 Pro and Chromecast 4K with Google TV
