Xfinity Remote App will no longer search

You used to be able to search by date and time in the remote app. Now it only shows "On now". Is this something that will be fixed?

I'm on my iPad and cannot navigate to a seperate page to select neither a future date or time, neither does it appear below the app to select a seperate date/time.  I am not the only one having this issue. Perhaps something showing the steps to navigate would help. Unfortunately, I still cannot use the app to see future shows.

edit: i was using my iphone. just tried on 1 yr old ipad and got same issue. must be an error in porting to the native iPadOS. I have escalated your issue to the Comcast Team available to these forums. Check back often for a reply in this thread from a Comcast Official Employee.

you posted in the stream app area but seem to be asking about the Xfinity TV remote app. which is it? give an example of what you want to do with the app you are referring. also, iOS or android?

Yes I am referring to the xfinity tv remote app. I could not find the tv Remote app in the categories.
When launching this app in the past, you used to be able to go to the date on the upper left corner and select a date/time in the future to see the programs starting at that date/time. Now, when you select the date, it only shows “on now.” I am on an Apple phone with current iOS.

that still works when you use the first tab for the guide. note that apple changed it from the easy to select spinner date/time to a separate date time. when you press the correct day to change to on the new interface you have to touch in the other area of the screen above or below to get the next menu choice to get back to the guide.

I just downloaded the app to my phone. I did get the screen to pick the date/time. It just does not do the same to the iPad. I would definitely like this to be fixed for the iPad. Aging eye need the bigger screen. Lol.  I agree with you, it was better before Apple required the change.

the 'magnifying glass' search is 'bad' on both too. try this. hit the magnifying glass and type  the name toe bro. nothing pupulates. press the search button the the virtual keyboard, nothing appears at all. touch the input area again and you will see the actual search result. both work same bad way.

Thanks for the info on search. I had figured that out. I really wanted to search by date and time on the TV listing using my iPad. I will just have to wait for your people to fix it on the iPad so it, at least, works like the function on the iPhone.
