Xfinity NOW TV service on Roku - any ETA?

Roku has always been the "primary" for the Xfinity Stream app, any idea when Xfinity NOW TV will work on it?

It seems to work on Apple TV and Android TV despite not being officially support.  It's just Roku that refuses to work.

I can share your feedback on the NOW TV service on a RoKu device. You can watch NOW TV content through the Xfinity Stream app on the following devices at this time: Xumo Stream Box, Xfinity Flex streaming TV Box, Apple, or Android mobile device, FireTV, Chromecast, and Apple AirPlay. You can also watch through the Xfinity Stream website on your browser at xfinity.com/stream. Currently, NOW TV is not available on Apple TV, LG TV, Roku, Samsung Smart TV, or Xumo TV. You can always check the https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-tv-app-requirements site for any updates on the availability on other devices in the future.

@XfinityJohnG​ lets get roku devices supported asap roku is the number one streaming device lets get it done!

This is FRAUD.  I was told by an XFINITY agent to switch from my COMCAST/XFINITY boxes and take the FLEX option. I was told I would need one FLEX box but the ROKU would work for the rest.  It did.  THEN, when NOW was introduced, ALL of MY ROKU boxes no longer work so I can only watch COMCAST/XFINITY on my ONE TV or on my phones.   Then, when I call about it, I found out that this is an across the board issue and I would have PAY for more FLEX boxes.  Bait and switch!

Hello,

I have the same issue. My tv with firestick and the one with the xumo streaming box works fine but the xfinity stream app on my roku tv doesnt show my recordings or guide. Very disappointed. I should have been told that it wouldnt work on Roku TVs.

user_agsr There currently is no update/timetable on when the Roku will be available with NOW TV.

@user_h9lkcp Hi there! I'm sorry that you were given the incorrect details for the Xfinity stream app on roku devices. At this time the eligible devices for NOW TV on a TV are Xump stream box from Xfintiy and Amazon Fire TV's. However, if you subscribe to Xfinity internet and Xfinity TV the Xfintiy stream app is available on compatible roku devices.

This is very disappointing and scummy that Comcast doesn’t allow now TV to work on Roku. Extremely disappointed.

I have Xfinity X1 TV service. I use a Roku device to watch live TV through the Xfinity Stream app. Am I understanding correctly that if I switch to NOW TV, it won't be streamable through the Xfinity Stream app on Roku?
