Xfinity app on Roku

The app opens and then takes me to main screen but then closes and goes back to Roku Home Screen. Deleted and reinstalled twice. Still same issue.

Having the same problem xfinity opens, stays open for a short time and then closes and I am brought back to the main screen. Should I be calling Roku? Does anyone have an update?

Xfinity streaming app not working on RokuTV in Colorado!   It opens for 2 seconds then closes immediately.  I’ve done everything suggested in this forum and it’s still not working.  Come on Xfinity!  Fox this issue!!

It stopped working for me around 11pm 11/01/23 

I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling but doing same thing and loads up for a couple seconds then sends me back to the home screen.

all other apps still work

Down this morning after ROKU update at 4AM Thursday, opens then immediately closes.  Moved over to the Firestick Xfinity Steam and watching there. You need a Firestick for backup if you have Roku.

Update:  My Roku devices just started working again. I clicked on the Xfinity streaming icon, and it now works. (I'm in NJ, if that matters...)

Same here xfinity please roll back your recent update so my roku sharpe 32  can use your xfinity streaming app again. It was working fine yesterday 11-1-23

same problem in GA. I’ve uninstalled, reset, disconnected, and any other thing I could think of. Has anyone discovered a fix or are we at the mercy of xfinity to fix this ? Thanks in advance!

Starting at 10pm 11/1 the xfinity app on my roku devices stopped working. It starts to launch then crashes back to the roku menu.

I have:

Rebooted roku devices

Updated roku devices

Uninstalled and reinstalled xfinity stream app

Rebooted roku devices again

Still not working.

All other apps on my rokus are working fine.

Working now in Atlanta, GA.  
While we appreciate it back in operation, I think this event exposes a flaw in Xfinity and ROKU’s customer service.

A problem of this magnitude should warrant a global Service Update Broadcast!  Yet…Nothing!
