Xfinity app on firestick

Reinstalled the app due to it was constantly freezing.

After installation now only have a few channels to choose from plus app keeps freezing 

Called  support got automated response asked for tech support but got a reset my modem

Same problem occurred on a few months ago on another Firestick and Xfinity agent couldn’t help with the problem

Two fire sticks with Xfinity  app not working.  Gotta be a problem here

Thanks for taking the time to reach out regarding the issues wth your firestick. I am sorry to hear that you experienced this through multiple devices. When you attempt to access the programming through the streaming app are you getting any errors or the programming is just not there any longer?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Xfinity Stream app? Also, we would recommend removing the power source from the Fire Stick for about a minute and then plug it back in. If you're still having the same issue after trying that, please let us know.

I’ve done all of those suggestions more than once with the app on both Firesticks.  Still doesn’t have any channels like before uninstall. I’ve read in this and other forums that I’m not the only one experiencing this issue.

Seems to me it’s an Xfinity app issue

i finally went back to roku, no problem w playback,  xfinity app is the problem, live works, its the playback buffering that fails - all other apps on stick have no problem
