WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH XFINITY STREAM BETA ON ROKU?

I get a black screen when trying to access any channel and an error on recordings Everything is operating as should be from the mobile app on my old Samsung Note 8. I have a Roku streaming stick +. I have tried uninstalling the app and nothing changed. For several days I was only able to watch local channels but now those are gone. Error when playing recordings is TVAPP-00306. I'd really like to watch football today, we didn't get to last weekend since the ESPN channel was not available for a week. I'm seriously considering changing to sling or Hulu live and cancelling my Comcast account that I've had for 15 years. Before you ask, yes I'm connected to home WiFi and yes, I've restarted the Roku several times.

unplug your roku from power. unplug the gateway modem from power for 30+ seconds and plug back in, after gateway is fully rebooted and working plug the power back in on the Roku. working?

I have the same problem with the same device. Any news?

I have found one work around. If I browse for a show that I have recorded, I can play the DVR recording. But if I go in through the Saved >Recordings, I get kicked out of the app immediately.

The only temporary fix is to unplug the gateway and wait 30 seconds and re-start. It will work fine for a few days and then start all over again.

My problems have been resolved. I believe they showed up about the same time the ability to set and delete recordings remotely was reintroduced. So maybe a few tech bugs needed to be worked out there. I did need to involve technical support to “update” my account. Then I had to remove the Xfinity app from the Roku and reinstall. A couple of days with some glitches but has been flawless since.
