Version 8.15.1.3747 on FireTV issues
Version 8.15.1.3747 will not let me watch recordings. Here is what happens, and it is a vicious circle.
I record a (daily) show to watch later.
The first time I watch a recording of the show, no problem.
The second day, the NEW recording of the show will not load. It just hangs with the dot-dot-dot animation.
The only way to watch my show is to uninstall the stream app and reinstall.
This same scenario goes for ANY of the shows that I record daily.
I've also tried to fix by restarting the TV, the stream app, offloading the stream app, and clearing the cache.
The only way to watch my show after the first day is to reinstall.
This issue has been going on constantly since this version started (about July 9 2026).

I've had problems on my FireStick (3rd Gen) roughly since version 8.13.0.2841 (released on Feb 13, 2026) -- I noticed them getting progressively worse with each update.
Yesterday, I finally decided I have had enough with version 8.15.1.3747 and decided to try downgrading back to 8.12.0.2517 (released on Oct 21, 2025)
I made a detailed post below if you want to give downgrading a try instead. You mentioned you've been uninstalling then reinstalling the app just to fix your issues. I highly suggest just installing an older version instead. This was the only way I could stop dealing with all the annoying bugs on the newer versions. I've had zero issues for like 2 whole days now, and I just wish I did it sooner.
