Unactivated Subscription

I was recently given a new Xi6-A TV box to replace an old one that went bad.  I could find no instructions anywhere on how to use the box.  As a result I accidentally signed up for an Acorn TV subscription.  I do not need this as I already have a subscription with them.  I have not activated the subscription.  How can I delete it?

user_fg3mj4 Hello there, and thank you for reaching out for assistance with your Acorn TV subscription through Xfinity Forums. You can navigate to your settings and remove the subscription from there. Here are the instructions. Please let me know if you run into any issues. 
 
  • Press the Xfinity button on your remote to open the main menu.
  • Select the gear icon to open Settings.
  • Scroll down and select Apps & Subscriptions.
  • Under the My Subscriptions or Active Subscriptions tab, locate Acorn TV.
  • Select Unsubscribe or Manage Subscription.
  • Confirm the cancellation when prompted
