Unable to login on 10th gen iPad - Xfinity Stream app

I cannot log in on the Xfinity Stream app on a 10th gen iPad.

When the app opens, I click "sign in" and the app requests to use xfinity.com to complete the sign in, which I approve.

The next page has a place to enter the user name / email, which I do. After clicking "let's go," the app flickers as if it is going to the next screen, but then loops back around to request the username / email again.

Endless loop with no ability to login or get past the "enter username" screen.

This has been the case since purchasing this iPad in December.

We have made multiple phone calls to customer service & have done the following:

Ensured the username & password are correct

Used the comcast email "username" as the login username

Ensured the app and iPad software are up to date

Set multiple browsers as the default browser to ensure the app can communicate with the xfinity website

Ensured the VPN is off

Ensured the iPad is on the home (Xfinity) wifi

Last call with customer support, after 30 minutes of questions, she said to wait two hours, uninstall the app, reinstall the app, and try again. This did not work.

We do have an open ticket through Xfinity support, but the phone support is worthless. Last night, she asked if we had "attempted to log out and log back in" as if she didn't understand the issue is logging in!

Any help? Is this a known issue?

We have an older iPad and use it daily for streaming. We both stream on our iPhones as well with no issues. It is simply an issue on this particular iPad.

Thanks so much!

This issue was resolved by adjusting cookie settings for the default browser.

Posting the resolution here for anyone else who has this issue and runs across this thread.

I've been having the same issue for at least the last 3 weeks. I've cleared cookies and cache in safari (the browser the app usesbto sign in) as well as my default browser (Chrome) but to no avail. I can't sign into Xfinity stream on any browsers on my iPad either.

What do you mean by adjusting cookie settings? What specifically did you do?

Good evening @user_7c6ra5. Was this a new iPad that you set up?

I’m having the same issue. Looks like Xfinity just wants to do their typical service and ignore what their customers are telling them. I don’t see a solution in this thread anywhere. Did someone get a solution that worked?
