TV Remote App not working

My eyes are getting bad and I can't read the tv screen so I need to use the Remote app.  But on both my iPad and iPhone it just gives me a screen saying Use your device as a remote control, etc.  Or it says I'm logged in and do I want to sign in as as different user but then takes me back to that first screen.  Please don't tell me the Remote App has gone away.  I checked the App store to see if there was a new version but no.   

Don't know which Topic I should pick?  It's not the Stream App.
