TLC Go App / Lifetime App - Not working

I am no longer able to use TLC Go or Lifetime Apps on my AppleTV / iPhone / Android Phone.

I am redirected to a login.xfinity.com site to login, as it has forever, but now when I login with my Xfinity credentials, I get a message saying

"This network is not included in your current Xfinity TV service"

I'm on a preferred channel lineup, with nearly all of the Premium channels.  I have these channels, but suddenly I'm told I can't stream.

I have called support, I have chatted with support, and I just get told over and over that I have to have Xfinity Internet service in order to be able to stream using "Channel Apps" like TLC Go, Lifetime, etc.

Is this a new policy change? This has not been the case for years, as I have only had Xfinity TV service and had no problems streaming until just the last couple of days.

As a follow-up, the Chat and Phone support were entirely useless.  Repeated calls and escalations kept telling me over and over it would not work, I needed Xfinity Internet service for it to work, that I needed to use different apps, etc.  

In desperation reached out on Twitter, and the social media help team was able to resolve the issue in ~5 minutes.  A simple 'refresh of channel lineup on your account', and all the streaming apps began working again.

Xfinity phone and chat support is quite useless and appear to simply read from prepared scripts, thus are unable to deal with something that is not a scripted response.

Same problem, wasted an hour talking with people who don't know hat they are talking about. Very frustrating.
