Support Samsung autorun last app feature

Can xfinity app support this Samsung feature? Basically when turning on TV, the xfinity app will automatically play if it was the app when shutoff the tv

That is a great question, @user_5d3049 . If the Xfinity App has the device not paused (on the network) until you unpause it, you may be able to set the TV up to allow picking up where you left off. You can however utilize the Xfinity Stream app, if that is on the TV, to pick up where you left off as long as it is not "Live TV".

Thank you very much for your reply. But if you try starting Netflix app on the Samsung TV and urn TV off, followed by turning TV on again, the Netflix app will start again. Do the same for Xfinity App, will not restart the app when turning TV back on. The Samsung support says that it is up to the apps to enable this capability. I hope xfinity can look into this some more so I can stay on Xfinity app all the time without having to choose the app from the manual each time the tv turns on.
