Streaming ERROR TVAPP-00148 LG tv

I am getting this error now.  I see it was happening on Samsung now it’s happening on my LG tv!  I’ve done everything according to direction for the Samsung tv, but I’m still getting the error.  To change the channel, I have to go to the channel, it doesn’t come up.  I have to shut the tv off and restart the app and it goes to the channel I want to watch!

Cugie Thanks for reaching out! What year, or model is your LG TV? Also, have you tried obtaining a firmware or software update from LG?

Hi Marty,

My tv is up to date on updates.  I did check and no updates are available.  My lg tv is 43UP7000PUA.

Thanks for the additional information, Cugie. We can take a closer look at your account, and ensure all your entitlements, and user access is in place for the Xfinity Stream app. Please send us a direct message. 

 

To send a "Direct Message" message:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
