Streaming Beta on Roku not working


Found the Xfinity streaming channel in Roku channel store, seemed like a good deal. When I try to subscribe, the sign up process never goes beyond "we're verifying your order" or something like that then the message changes to "something went wrong, try again in a few minutes" 

any suggestions or help, I called tech support they had no idea what I was talking about.
