Streaming App Goes to Black Screen after selecting a program

We downloaded the Xfinity Streaming App to our tv. It worked for months without issue; suddenly, whenever we try to select a program the screen just goes black and the program never loads. We can open the app, search, see recordings, etc... 

The app works on other tv's in our home also, so not sure why it's just this TV (which is only two months old) and why this suddenly occurring when the app works fine otherwise?
