Stream on Roku: 2 bugs

I have three different Roku devices/models that all do the same thing.

Bug 1: Newer bug... started in the last couple of months. When starting Xfinity and selecting a live channel, Closed Captioning is automatically set to 'Always'. I turn it off from the menu or from the channel and the next time I enter Xfinity, Closed Captioning starts again automatically. It seems to reset itself to "on always".

Bug 2: Searching for a channel or program works, but when selecting the program to watch, it resets itself back to the menu without playing the program. Search does find, but will not select without aborting the opperation. This is also a bug that seems to have been introduced in the latest patch.

Any ideas on the fix? Any work arounds? The Search problem is particularly annoying.

for 'feature 1', go to https://www.xfinity.com/stream/settings/accessibility and sign in. turn off the captions setting default.

for 'feature 2' give an example. have you tried the same search using a smart phone/tablet? same problem?
