Stream beta App not working on Samsung Smart TV

On my samsung smart tv we downloaded the xfinity stream beta app and it does not play channels or our purchased movies. We have the flex box hooked up on a different tv and everything works fine. The xfinity stream beta app just doesnt work on the samsung tv. We have xfi and everything it just doesn't work. Why?

if you have the X1 service, you could not have a flex box. please explain.

Just off with Xfinity Rep and was told that the Samsung Smart is no longer compatible with the Xfinity Streaming App...

I've had the problem for at least 4 weeks, it was working fine when I installed back in the spring.  Apparently, the Xfinity updates and the Samsung updates are no longer compatible. Ugh!!!

that probably was not good information. the usual fix is to uninstall the app, unplug the TV for 5+ minutes then plug in. use the TV remote and find software/firmware updates until there are no more offered. then unplug TV again for 5+ minutes and then reinstall the app. be sure to accept the terms and conditions.

I'm also getting an error message "error tvapp-00100". This just started a few days ago.

I was able to get it working by removing and deleting the app from my tv. I then reinstalled it and the app is working now!

Why won't my TV allow for the search of Xfinity Stream Beta?

if you have updated the TV's firmware to the latest level and it still is not available then the app is not yet compatible with that TV. A modern model roku/firestick can give you access.
