Stream app shows only Purchases
Hello,
When I start the Stream app on my TV, it goes directly to the Purchases screen, showing only purchased movies and Settings. There is no option for streaming or live TV. On my other devices, the app works properly.
My TCL Roku TV is in the compatible devices list and the software is updated. The app is the current version. I am connected via hard wire to the modem. All my other apps work fine.
I have tried talking to 4 different Xfinity reps and they were unable to help. I uninstalled and reauthorized the app many times & then factory reset the TV, too - the issue is not on my end. It appears my TV's Stream app doesn't recognize me as a current subscriber. Per google, I need help to "reprovision my streaming device entitlements." Can someone please help?

Hello @user_e12 Thanks for sharing the trouble you are finding with the Xfinity Stream app on the TCL Roku TV. Based on the direct message we are working in as well, I sent an account refresh signal to the account. I also created a ticket with the repair team to run a system check. I will follow up with you in our direct message as well to help resolve the issue we are having with the Xfinity Stream app on the TCL Roku TV.

I just spoke with my 5th tech support person, who said I need a Xumo box for the app to work on my TV. Based on things she said, I went looking deeper on the Xfinity web site & read the Stream service FAQs more carefully, where I found this:
"I’m not an Xfinity TV customer. Can I still use Stream?
Yes, Xfinity Stream is included with your Xfinity service. There is live and On Demand content accessible to all Xfinity customers on the following devices: web, iOS, Android, Fire TV, Chromecast, and AirPlay. Sign in with your Xfinity ID and password."
Apparently, the Stream app no longer works on Roku TVs for internet subscribers?
