I went to live tv from the stream app but It only shows to go channels. the list of channels from the tv  app and my mobile app and inside tv are different from the roku tv app. how do I get my new tv with the app to show me all of my channels. trying to watch history channel or discovery but it won't show up. they show up on my tablet and phone

Thank you for reaching out to us @cgjoeyg! Our team can certainly take a further look! Is the new TV connected to your in-home WiFi network or a hotspot?

Thank you for confirming that @cgjoeyg! Just to make sure we cover all the bases, are we using the same username to sign in on the Roku and the other devices?

I belive so. not sure have not had to relog into my tablet or phone in a long time. but when I activated the roku it gave me a code I had to enter on the xfinity web site so I think it's the same.

No worries @cgjoeyg! When entering the code on the website, the site will ask you to sign in to the account. It may use the sign in information previously used on that device.

Based on what you've said, it should be the same as the tablet and phone. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name, full address, and username used to sign in to the account? To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.

I got the guide to show all the channels but I can't watch them it says "this device can only access stream on your in home xfinity wifi. use app on smartphone tablet or laptop to watch on the go anytime." so your telling me I can't use the app on the roku tv because I don't buy your internet? I can't chose different  company. but I can use the same wifi with my phone and tablet or laptop and I can watch them all. but a smart tv can not be used I can't watch discovery history a&e local  anything but Togo channel? not even on demand history channel  shows work. that doesn't make sense seems like a forced way to rent another black box from you guys.

My apologies for the frustration this has caused, @cgjoeyg. Unfortunately, the Xfinity Stream app for Apple TV, LG TV, Roku, Samsung Smart TV, and Xumo TV is only available to Xfinity TV customers with Xfinity Internet service. You should be able to access your content through a web browser, compatible iOS or Android mobile device, Amazon Fire TV, or Google Chromecast. You can find more details about the system requirements on our support page here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-tv-app-requirements
