Stream App on HDX 7 2013 in 2019

As of this month/December 2019 on HDX 7 2013, Stream App stopped playing. Uninstalled/reinstalled, when i attempted to open, message came up: "CONNECTION ERROR Please check your connection and try again." Connection is fine, on STRONG WiFi signal. I uninstalled/reinstalled, repeated steps, got the same error message. Up until ?last week Stream app was working fine. Using same Stream App on Android phone, its working properly. Anyone else having the same problem on HDX 7 2013? Any tips or possible resolutions are welcome.
