Stream App has wrong aspect ratio on some channels

There are a number of channels in the 900 range that show old tv series. The picture is distorted on the Fire TV Xfinity stream app but it is correct with a converter box. For example shows on Cozi TV, channel 935, and on MeTV channel 942. If the show being broadcast was originally wide screen it is shown squeezed into a pillar box view. It has been like this ever since I started using the Fire TV xfinity stream app two years ago. Please get this fixed. See picture below.
