Some channels won’t work on app

I am trying to watch CNN on the Xfinity app on my phone as I normally do. However, when I click the icon for the channel, it just blinks and stays on the same page. It won’t open up the channel. I also cannot find it or many other channels on my live tv page.  Other channels seem to work fine though. I am in my home and connected to my WiFi.
