Solution: Xfinity Stream app freezes/won’t display channels
My Xfinity Stream app was frozen on my TV. It worked fine on my iPhone, but when I accessed the app on my smart TV, it would just freeze and wouldn’t respond to any commands from the remote. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Internet, logged out of my account and logged back in, deleted the app from my TV and re-downloaded it, shut off my TV and turned it back on, nothing.
The solution ended up being unplugging my TV from the wall outlet and plugging it back in. This seemed to be the only thing that disrupted the existing connection with the app. Once I plugged the TV back in and logged back into the app, everything worked fine.
