SNY app on Xfinity

I read prior threads on SNY/Xfinity topic and was more than disappointed in the ridiculous logic of your self serving answers. How does your not providing me with access to the SNY app protect me from a bad deal? It may prevent you from (what you perceive to be) a bad deal (for you), all it does is prevent me from accessing sports that I am paying for with your "service".  Make a deal!

Hello there @user_0b2d2c thank you so much for your post about using the SNY app. We do strive to make all content available to customers through network streaming apps and websites, we may only do so when we have an agreement with the networks. If we don’t have an agreement with the network, we’re unable to provide you access to their app or website, and, therefore, Xfinity will not appear as a service provider. With that said feel free to reach out to SNY to provide your feedback so they can help and have us listed as a supported provider in the future!

@XfinityAmandaB Whit I think is happening here is that they SNY (Comcast owns 8% of SNY by the way) would be more than happy to add SNY as a streaming provider but is most likely asking for a small fee increase to do so which Comcast/Xfinity is balking at because it will cause a few penny pinching non spots fans to be pissed with the increase in their cable bill no matter how small it is.  For one am willing to absorb increase fess for both the SNY app and the restoration of MSG Networks. Let the penny pinchers afraid of a small increase go to the streaming services. like Fubo don't force me a loyal customer to them.
