Sept 2025 Firestick Xfinity app issue
We've been wanting to return the Xfinity box to Xfinity but with the APP on the firestick there's no way to add a channel to favorites . I have search google, watched multiple video's and nothing works. There's no option to add to favorites. It seems this issue goes back years. Why can't Xfinity developers fix the app?? Our Sony Bavia won't allow us to donload the Xfinity app to the tv either .

Hello, @garyg2 the Xfinity Stream app is not going to have all the same features as the X1 box will have, on all devices. And it's not available on all devices. This is due to software and hardware capabilities of 3rd party products. You can get more details referencing the following article. I have a Bravia 3, so I can relate. The Xfinity Stream app is not available on Sony TVs, but you can use a Chromecast to use your Xfinity Stream app on a Sony TV. That's the best way to do it!
