Screen mirroring isn't currently supported

I'm unable to stream programs - live or recorded - on my Moto Razr 2024. I get the "Screen mirroring isn't currently supported" error. 

I've tried the following with no luck: 

- restart app 

- restart phone

- reinstall app

- clear app cache 

- install latest app and phone software

- turn off Wi-Fi and stream recorded and out of home program

- ensure I don't have split screen or dual screen

- of course screen mirroring is not enabled

I've tried the following and they all work 

- try on another android phone (Google Pixel) 

- try on laptop

- cast using chromecast

I've seen multiple posts with this same issue on multiple Android phone, including Samsung, Motorola, with no real resolution. 

Please note: I'm an Android developer.
