Samsung Smart TV Xfinity beta app bug/broken

When I launch app it immediately goes from the “main menu” screen “Purchased movies”? I have rebooted the TV multiple times by unplugging and have 3 times reinstalled the app. So there is a diff it’s bug. No other app issues with Samsung TV as Apple TV, amazon prime, Netflix all work. Cannot get back to the home screen when pushing back button just app just offers to exit and asks to confirm. The interesting thing is I use Movies Anywhere to synchronize my movie library across various streaming providers so the purchased movies are correct. The app will not allow me back to the main menu to select live Tv....which is what I use it for. Samsung. App version 1.11.0. Samsung QLED software version 1356. TV model WN82Q7DRAFXXA

if you use a smart phone/tablet on the same wifi using the Xfinity Stream TV app, does the smart device work properly or just has purchases?

I shared this on my original post and wanted to share it here because I am so excited that the app is actually working after 2 weeks of nothing! I received a robocall today saying that my problem was fixed. It was not, I did all of th things: unplugged the tv and router, deleted the app and reinstalled. I called (for the forth time) and they were able to fix it (after it not working for two weeks). They had to go into my account and unlink an old address that was attached to the account (like a really old address from maybe 5 years ago). I deleted the app, reinstalled, they restarted the router and it seems to be actually working!

Stream works fine on my iPhone 11 Pro and iPad. It is just the Samsung TV Stream app that is still having issues.....

use the TV's remote and remove the Xfinity stream beta app. then go to the TV menu and check for firmware/software updates and update until no more updates are available. Unplug the TV from AC power for 3-5 minutes then plug back in. reinstall the Xfinity Stream TV beta app and sign in. be very sure to accept the terms and conditions. working?

I don't understand why this stops working so often on my Samsung Smart TV or who is responsible for it.

A simple “Reinstall” also works.
