Roku Xfinity Stream App Error

I am unable to get any shows to stream on the xfinity stream roku app. It buffers for about a minute and then displays an TVAPP-00231 error. I read on another post that this problem was fixed but it has not been working for me. I made sure to update my Roku and still nothing. I am able to sign in to xfinity and watch on my laptop in the same room and able to use the ESPN app with xfinity on the same Roku so I know it has to be the xfinity stream app itself.

I am also having this issue. My Roku has been hooked up for years, we’ve been using the xfinith stream app for years. I haven’t changed anything and suddenly we can’t watch the app. It buffers then goes to the error message.

@ComcastAmira I'm getting the same error.  What is the ETA for resolution?  Or is there something I need to do on my end?

what is the error message and error number? are you able to get a menu of recordings? the program grid? have you tried rebooting (power unplug for 30 seconds+) the gateway/modem?

9.24.20 Roku receipt of CNBC suddenly stopped and is nor Error TVAPP 00231. other channels coming through fine, cnbc keeps buffering.

I've had this same issue Nd had to call into Comcast support to resolve. They refreshed my account, not sure what that means, but it did the trick. The xfinity app on my roku is working without any issues now.
