Roku Xfinity Beta Stream App Issues

I got rid of all my comcast boxes and have started to use a Roku device and the Xfinity streaming app on Roku. My problem is that I have to delete the channel several times a day and log back in with the authorization code before I can watch TV. 

 

Is there any fix for this? I love the service but a couple of people in my house aren't tech savvy and can't seem to figure it all out.

You are not the only one. Xfinity stream app is not working properly on roku. Xfinity needs to update their app. One of our roku boxes going out every 20 min. Did everything but the other was fine until roku updated then the app failed. It could be on roku update side but I am not sure. Factory reset on roku's did not seem to work. Xfinity said it might be a sync problem but they did not have answers. Just to add no problems with Apple iPad or iPhone with Xfinity stream app.

depending upon your subscription you may only have 2 streaming slots or 5 streaming slots. could you be exceeding these slots causing devices to be removed so that another one can stream?

I am able to use 5 . But I confirmed that the roku firmware update that was installed now most of the apps will only run for 20 minutes then roku goes to home screen. Roku said the apps need updating. We checked all version numbers and found that they were not compatible. So don't update your roku's firmware yet. I am supposed to receive a callback in a couple days from roku and Xfinity. Xfinity is aware and working on it.
