Roku Xfinity Beta does not return to last channel watched
If the TV is turned off (Roku is left ON constantly) while using the Xfinity Beta app I would expect Roku and the Xfinity app to be on the last channel watched when I turn the TV back on (just like a cable box stays on the last channel watched). Instead, when I return later and turn the TV back on, I find Roku is now out of the Xfinity app and back on its home page. I've tested many times and no change so I know it's not a WIFI or internet issue.
I'm using latest Roku Streaming Stick+ on several different TVs and they all do the same thing.

I already have the bandwidth saver turned off so it has nothing to do with that. Besides, that function only kicks in after 4 hours. The case I'm talking about happens within several minutes of turning the TV off. Even if I wait just 10 minutes and turn the TV back on, the Xfinity app is off and Roku is back to the home page. It seems Roku and/or Xfinity app detects loss of the HDMI connection when the TV gets turned off which then triggers Roku to switch back to home page.

Just got done talking to tech support at Roku. The issue is with the Xfinity app. Apparently Xfinity app is programmed to detect if the TV, which is connected to the Roku box, is turned off or on. If turned on, streaming is not interrupted but if the TV is turned off, the Xfinity app times-out after a few minutes and closes so the next time you turn on the TV, you are no longer connected the Xfinity app but rather back to the Roku home page. For those who use the Roku as a cable box replacement, it would be far better if the Xfinity app stayed "live" when the TV is turned off, that way, when you turn the TV back on it's at the same Xfinity channel as before.
