Roku Reactivation Every Few Days
I have 2 roku 4k devices with xfinity stream app. Both of them requires reactivation every few days. Basically, the app will start, flash something and quit. Only way is to reinstall the app and reactivate. I have to do this to both roku every few day, very annoying.
I have my own cable modem and router at home. Not sure what is going on. I saw several replies to this question from Comcast as private message to the poster, so that does not help me. Please post the answer in forum for everyone to read and fix this annoying issue. By the way I already tried, removing the app on both roku, rebooting roku, reinstalling xfinity stream app and reactivating but no joy there, still the same issue.

Hi @Bob_Janes,
Thank you for posting to the Xfinity Forums. I can understand why this would be frustrating. With these types of issues, there is normal troubleshooting that needs to be completed on the backend of your account. Especially if there were recent changes to your modem. I'd like to help get this fixed. I will be replying to your private message shortly. Please have the following information handy:

I have spent the last month with a Comcast Level 1 support, a Comcast Level 2 support 2x and now Advanced Support and none of them has full filled their claim to fixing this issue. One exception to your claim is I have to do reactivate 4 Ruku's everyday and Comcast can say there is nothing else they can help me with on this issue. Nice going Comcast, you don't know how to fix your own issues.

are you moving from one to another SSID during the day? have you renamed your own SSID to something like XFINITY or xfinitywifi? do you use a comcast router or your own router? if your own router, check the router's DNS addresses.
