Recordings not accessible through the app

As of this week I can't access recordings on my devices. I never had a problem before. On my tv it shows all the recordings so I know they're still available. What changed????

did you see an error message and error messsage number? what device are you using when you have the problem? did you try a different device (PC, smart phone/tablet) to see if they work while the first one is not working?

Hi @Jenate thank you for reaching out to us on Xfinity Forum. Could you please clarify whether you are able to access some recordings (which are available on your TV) from your Stream app or none? 

 

Our DVR storage on the Stream app doesn’t always cover all recordings made on your set-top box. If you want to ensure a series will be available on Stream in the future, you can follow these steps on your set-top box: Find a recorded episode of the show. Go to "Options." Choose "All Episodes." Next to "Save," choose "For 1 year." Recordings not marked this way will be removed from Stream first. Unfortunately, the only way to get recordings already missing from Stream back is to record them again.
