Recorded Shows Won't Playback

As of yesterday I can longer watch a recorded show. The shows are there but once I tap it the 3 dots keep moving but the video doesn't play. I have reset my phone and removed the app. I downloaded and installed the app but problem not fixed.

you didn't say if you have an iphone or android. I'll give the iphone directions. long press the xfinity stream app icon on the home screen. when the icons start shaking press the x on the xfinity stream icon to remove it. press home key. press and hold the power button until the power off slide appears and power off the phone. After 30 seconds or more, press the power button to restart the phone. go to the app store and search for the xfinity stream TV app and install it. run the app, sign in and accept the terms and conditions. working now?

I have an Android phone, Google Pixel 3. I'm able to do other functions in the app, delete recordings, see what's recorded, see what's scheduled. Whenever I select a recorded show to watch it goes to that screen, shows the logo for the channel but all that happens is the 3 dots cycling below the logo and then I wait for the video to start playing but it doesn't. I've waited several minutes but all I see is the 3 dots cycling away.

what browser or app were you using?

Not using a browser. This is about an issue in Comcast's streaming app.
