Re: Recordings Not Showing on Xfinity Stream App

Hello,

 

Spent 2 hours on phone and explained what you said but no luck. Reset modem/router, removed app from roku and placed back on (Did three times). Still no luck on seeing recording as we I hit the saved it shows breif view of the header under saved and then boots me completely out the beta app back to main channel screen in roku. Also I even went onto the xfinity stream site, looged in and where I go to recordings it states there's a error and we are working on it. This has been going on for almost two weeks but just called today. Channels and on demand come in fine just can't see or play recordings which up until 2 weeks ago worked perfect.

 

Anyone esle having this problem and or any addtional fixes?

moved your reply to a separate thread. What device are you using to watch programming in your home on the stream app?

It looks to have been fixed as of this morning.

 

Devices where I could not see recordings and or it would boot me out or show error.

 

Roku Ultra's (Ethernet hard wired but tried wireless as well)

Xfinity Stream through IE on laptop in house (Ethernet hard wired)

 

Funny that I could see them on the app on the tablet (Wifi) and X1 box

 

Thanks again for your help and hope it was fixed for everyone esle

This issue started yesterday. While streaming I can click on "saved" but recordings does not appear. I also see the same issue in the streaming app. So both do not have my DVR recordings for me to watch.

Can someone explain why this are missing and how to get this feature back? I stream a lot on my laptop and mostly to watch DVR recordings. With that option disappeared there has to be something wrong.

i have the issue with my streaming online and via the app. this began last night. when i click o the saved tab, i do not see recordings. i usually watch DVR shows via streaming and now this is unable to happen.

can someone explain?

what do you see on the app? did you try another smart phone/tablet? are the recordings on you home DVR?

what i see on the APP is slightly different these days. under the for you option i no longer see recordings. which used to be a place where i could see DVR recordings and watch via the app on streaming via the Xfinity site, yes?
on the streaming site i also see for you but again no recordings-so i have no access to my DVR recordings via app or streaming.

according to the app my xfinity stream i have version 5.13.1.1502

are you able to provide guidance please? thank you

i am having the same issue streaming. suddenly the for you tab does not have recordings. which it used to all the time

also have noticed the same via the xfinity app. now i can only watch dvr recording via TV

which is not how it used to be until recently. very, very strange technical issues

do you have at least one set top box installed and working in your home?

i don't appreciate being ignored. i have the same issue yet again

 

i have applied system refresh and system record via my cable box multiple times. time after time this problem comes up where via the streamig site, i cannot see my recordings in the correct tab and not all the channels are available or the networks are available.

so what is the problem now?

for a test and possible temporary fix, go to Xfinity.com  then sign in and go to accounts, then "users". create a new unrestricted account and use that account to sign in to the stream app. accept the terms and conditions. does that new username work?
